ของขวัญล้ำค่าจาก “คุณตา” My memorable presents เป็นเรื่องราวของการเขียนบรรยายเชิงโน้มน้าวจิตใจ ที่เราต้องเขียนสื่อให้ผู้อ่านจินตนาการให้เห็นภาพคล้อยตามไปกับเราด้วย ซึ่งเราต้องสอดแทรกอารมณ์ลงไป การเขียนแนวนี้เรียกว่า “พรรณาโวหาร”(Describe Writing)
Descriptive writing helps the reader visualize the person, place, thing, or situation being described. When a text conjures a vivid, sensory impression in the reader’s mind, not only does it make the writing more interesting to read; it helps the reader understand the text better and recognize the author’s intention more clearly.

A gift is not just giving to someone on a special day, but it can be given for a special reason or when something special happens. The gift shows affection to the people that we love. To me, I still remember the day when I got my first bicycle from my grandfather on my first day of high school. Receiving such a gift, at that time in my life gave me the opportunity for higher education. This has given me a lot of inspiration in my life. This bike was most precious. It made me very proud and has given me many good memories from my life.
At that time, I was just a little girl soon to be twelve years old. My parents were to poor and did not have enough money for my education, and I would be studying at a middle school in the next year. The middle school was very far form my village. It was eight kilometers away. In addition, I really needed a bike to take me to school and back home, because we did not have a school bus that could take us to high school. For this reason, my grandfather inspired me to look at things in a different way. He encouraged me to believe in my ability and to be confident in my mind. He told me that if I can study further that he would give me a bike. After that, I tried to study and read my old textbooks; every homework, and did it again and again. I thought I would solved the exam problems if I were assigned them as homework. I studied hard for my goal, because not only was a bicycle coming; but there were the scholarships and study at middle school was waiting for me, too. Later on, I become the best student in the class. That year; my grandfather gave me a bike it was more special than any other bike in our village.
My present was a “BMX” brand of bicycle. It was a medium sized women’s bike; smaller gears and light weight, a green specialized bike with yellow flowers painted on it. The wheels had thirty-six spokes, and the frame was made of various types of steel and aluminum. My bicycle was the most modern bike in the village. My friends were jealous that I got this special bike, and I always had to act so high and mighty when riding it.
I remember the first day when beginning high school vividly. It made me nervous and was an amazing time. I never forgot that my heart thumped so fast before I opened my eyes. I took a deep breath. Finally, I could feel tears in my eyes. When I opened my eyes; I saw a fantastic bike with my grandfather and my parents. They gave me a special bike. It was a real surprise, I could not say anything when I first saw it and could not stop the biggest smile from covering my face. I was really proud of myself because I got this bike with my own ability. It was really the greatest present and memory of my life.
Finally, this gift was the most valuable in my life. I am still happy and very grateful to my grandfather for getting it for me. It reminds me that “where there’s a will, there’s a way.” It makes me feel better whenever I have troubles or feel heavy in my mind. I have to thank my grandfather for supporting me. I think, this is a special present that stays in my mind and always reminds me of my grandfather’s love that helped me to have a higher education.
